Flagstaff campgrounds and RV parks are a wonderful alternative to staying in a hotel, motel or vacation rental.

Imagine waking up to the fresh, pine-scented air of Flagstaff. Flagstaff serves as a gateway to exploring some of the most spectacular and diverse natural attractions in the United States. This confluence of natural wonders makes Flagstaff a must-visit destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. Camping in Flagstaff offers a breathtaking experience surrounded by the stunning landscapes of the Coconino National Forest. Immersed in Ponderosa pines, within the largest contiguous ponderosa pine forest in the world, campers can find themselves enjoying an abundance of outdoor activities.

Flagstaff is no less than a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, offering a plethora of activities to suit every adventurer's tastes. Hiking trails crisscross through the lush pine forests, towering mountains, and breathtaking vistas. Mountain biking enthusiasts can tackle the diverse terrain of the area's trails, while rock climbers test their skills on the challenging cliffs of nearby Oak Creek Canyon. Additionally, the area boasts opportunities for camping, fishing, and even horseback riding, ensuring that there's always something new to discover amidst Flagstaff's stunning natural beauty. Don't forget, the Grand Canyon is only a hot cup of coffee away, also offering unique and memorable camping experiences.

See below for a list of disperse camping and campground locations.

Please remember to practice "Leave No Trace" and enjoy the forest responsibly to minimize impact, maintain the health of the forest and its wildlife, prevent wildfires caused by abandoned campfires, and protect archaeological and historic sites.
