The Flagstaff Travel Guide is an annual publication featuring the accommodations, restaurants, activities and useful travel information for the Flagstaff area.
Get The GuideFlagstaff campgrounds and RV parks are a wonderful alternative to staying in a hotel, motel or vacation rental.
If you are looking to sleep in a tent under the stars or relax in your RV amongst the Ponderosa pines, then Flagstaff has a great selection of campgrounds and RV parks to choose.
Or immerse yourself in nature and head into the Coconino National Forest or Flagstaff Bureau of Land Management (BLM) which offers scenic camping throughout the Flagstaff area. See below for a list of disperse camping and campground locations.
Please remember to practice "Leave No Trace" and enjoy the forest responsibly to minimize impact, maintain the health of the forest and its wildlife, prevent wildfires caused by abandoned campfires, and protect archaeological and historic sites.
While much of the forest is open to dispersed camping, there are several sites set aside as designated dispersed camping sites, listed below. Pick up or download a free Motor Vehicle Use Map to know where it is legal to drive.
