  • What to pack? At 7,000 feet, Flagstaff’s high altitude means brighter sunshine and quick-changing weather. Dress in layers and always carry sunscreen, sunglasses, sturdy footwear, and a hat. Cooler months: add a fleece or flannel shirt, warm pants, a winter coat, gloves, scarf, and snow boots. Warmer months: light layers keep you comfortable from sunny afternoons to crisp evenings.
