Reminiscent of the era, this event will be a day-long experience, and a free, family-friendly event which includes nostalgic reenactments, classic car show, sky writing, streetscape art installations, and a festival in ‘The only 7,000-foot elevation, pine-fresh, dark-sky city on the Mother Road.’
66 Things-to-Do is a digital passport providing many must-see and do activities and experiences that include indulging in a hot dog at the Route 66 location that inspired a famous Eagles song, dancing or raising a glass in an original roadhouse... all this and more. Yep, That's Flagstaff!

To "top off" the day, after the Route 66 Centennial celebration concludes at 5pm, there will be more live music on Heritage Square while the community prepares for our annual sit-in Movies on the Square; this particular evening will be a showing of the movie Cars by Disney.
