Experience Flagstaff’s First Friday ArtWalk
Experience the creative energy of First Friday ArtWalk, a beloved monthly tradition in Downtown Flagstaff. Each month, local galleries, businesses, and creative spaces come alive with exclusive art exhibits, live performances, music, family-friendly activities, and more. Many venues extend their hours beyond 9 PM, keeping the celebration going late into the night.
ARTWALK HIGHLIGHTS
- Community Bike Ride - Meet at Coconino Center for the Arts at 4 PM, eat some FREE Timberline Ice Cream, then ride to Heritage Square at 5 PM, every First Friday.
- Local & Regional Art Exhibits – Discover works from talented artists in various mediums.
- Live Music & Performances – Enjoy a rotating lineup of musicians and entertainers.
- Tasty Treats & Refreshments – Many venues offer complimentary snacks and drinks.
- Shops, Galleries & Restaurants Stay Open Late – Browse, shop, and dine as you explore downtown.
- Outdoor Entertainment at Heritage Square – During warmer months, catch street performances and local vendors.

- Get There Early: There's so much happening during ArtWalk. Arrive early to join the community bike ride or get a jump start visiting all the galleries.

- Talk to the Artists: Take time to meet the creators behind the work and hear their stories.
- Dress for the Weather: Flagstaff's higher elevation means evening temps drop fast, pack an extra layer for later, and wear shoes made for walking.
- Make it a Pub Crawl: Wandering from gallery to gallery is bound to build up an appetite. Luckily, the nearby bars, breweries, and restaurants stay open late during First Friday, giving you plenty of spots to have dinner and drinks.
