Flagstaff packed with events for Arizona Beer Week 2026

People enjoy pints of craft beer and a flight of 5 beers at Mother Road Brewing in Flagstaff, AZ

Flagstaff, Ariz. — Arizona Beer Week will bring special release brews, collaborations, tastings and a variety of events to Flagstaff — Arizona’s Leading Craft Beer City.

The annual statewide celebration of the craft beer industry runs from Feb. 12 to 22, coinciding with Valentine’s Day and the increasingly popular I Heart Pluto Festival, where Flagstaff celebrates the discovery of the official state planet of Arizona.

The eight award-winning craft brewers in Flagstaff ensure visitors have a variety of events to choose from each year, with specials that complement both events.

The I Heart Pluto Festival includes the Pluto Pub Crawl on Feb. 13. This year’s event organized by Lowell Observatory will focus on the connection between Pluto and Route 66, the iconic highway celebrating its centennial this year.

Mother Road Brewing Company will unveil its annual Pluto-themed ale at an Astronomy on Tap event Feb. 12. The event will include a discussion on the parallels between the abandoned Route 66 and the hotly debated, icy planet.

Looking for something romantic and beer-inspired for Valentine’s? Try Lumberyard Brewing Company’s Beer and Chocolate Pairing, with three beers paired with house-made chocolates on Feb. 13. Or consider a Valentine’s Day tasting with Historic Brewing Company at Hops on Birch in downtown Flagstaff, where they will show off Flex Lane IPA (an ode to the new roadway between Phoenix and Flagstaff) and Last Town American Lager. They’ll host another tasting with those brews Feb. 21 at Arizona Snowbowl.

Mother Road Brewing Company will release AZ250 Lager on Feb. 14 to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the U.S. The brewery obtained exclusive rights for the anniversary beer in the state.

Dark Sky Brewing Company will be a stop on the famous Pluto Pub Crawl, offering a Pluto Paloma drink special, and also will be at the Feb. 14 tasting at Hops on Birch.

Beer week also is a great time to check off some of the stops on the Flagstaff Brewery Trail. Visitors who check in at all eight stops can redeem their digital or paper passport for a commemorative pint glass.
