Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations

Share

The City of Flagstaff supports the transition to electric vehicles.

Charge your car while you enjoy downtown – sightseeing, dining, and shopping are plentiful. The stations were brought to Flagstaff with the help of APS, through the APS Take Charge AZ program.

As of July 1, 2025, there will be a fee for using City-owned electric vehicle charging stations for personal use. The fee structure is as follows:

Downtown locations:
City Hall and Visitor’s Center
While charging: $0.33 per kWh
While idling*: $0.07 per minute ($4.20 per hour)
All other locations:While charging: $0.33 per kWh
While idling*: $0.04 per minute ($2.40 per hour)

*Idling refers to a vehicle that remains at the EV charging station after the vehicle’s battery is fully charged.

See below for a complete map of EV charging stations.
There are charging stations at City Hall, the Visitor Center, in the downtown area, on East Route 66, at many local hotels, and at NAU.
