Matt Gross - Wildland Trekking

Here is a list of the eco-friendly practices we employ:
• Using recyclable products and recycling whenever possible
• Purchase items made from recyclable materials whenever possible/available
• Have an on-going initiative to reduce waste with non-recyclables like zip lock bags, grocery bags...etc.
• Repair gear as much as possible to extend the life of those resources
• Sell used gear at a big discount in the community so it continues to get utilized
• Phasing out the use of single-use plastic bottles and have reduced their use significantly.
• Shuttle trips as seldom as possible to avoid the extra fuel consumption that shuttling leads to.
• Practice Leave No Trace on all of our trips
• Reduce our footprint as much as possible by continuing to reduce waste, increase recycling, transition to eco-friendly vehicles, and use eco-friendly practices.
• Donate significantly to conservation initiatives around the USA and the world.
