FLAGSTAFF – COSTRUITE IL VOSTRO ITINERARIO PERFETTO

The city is located at 7,000 feet (2,135 meters) elevation in the midst of the world’s largest Ponderosa pine forest where temperatures rarely exceed 90 degrees (32 degrees Celsius) in the summer, fall brings a brilliant change of color, winter snowfall averages 108 inches and spring bursts with blossoms. Flagstaff is a year-round hub of activity known for authentic western culture and endless outdoor recreation in a small town environment.

Flagstaff is located on historic Route 66 and is a premier stop on America’s iconic Mother Road. The city is situated at the crossroads of two major interstates, I-17 and I-40, offering travelers quick access by car to Phoenix, Las Vegas, Albuquerque or Los Angeles and many roadside attractions in between. The Flagstaff Airport (FLG) offers several daily flights to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) meaning it is simply a quick connection to many destinations around the world. Further, direct air service is also available from FLG to Los Angeles (LAX) and Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) International Airports. The Amtrak train depot services Flagstaff twice daily on the “Southwest Chief” line from the historic train station in the center of downtown.

While you are here, plan to use Flagstaff as your home base to explore some of the USA’s most spectacular scenery. In less than a 3-hour drive from Flagstaff you can visit seven national parks and monuments including Grand Canyon National Park, Petrified Forest National Park, Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument, Wupatki National Monument and Walnut Canyon National Monument. Drive a bit further to immerse yourself in the Navajo and Hopi cultures and explore Antelope Canyon, the Navajo National Monument, Canyon de Chelly National Monument and Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park.

The Flagstaff community invites you to start planning your uniquely Arizona vacation now.
