Filmmakers have selected Flagstaff and surrounding areas as prime locations since the 1920's.
Flagstaff’s historic Motel Du Beau on Route 66 received a makeover in 2023 as part of Magnolia Network’s television series “Motel Rescue.” Host Lindsey Kurowski revamped the lobby of the motor-court motel and offered the owners ideas on how to reinvigorate the rooms. B-roll of the city for the episode was coordinated and permitted by the Flagstaff Film Office.
