Welcome to West African Drum class - come and learn fun rhythms from West Africa!
We learn traditional songs/rhythms from West Africa, mainly Guinea and Mali, using Djembe, Dununs and some other instruments!
Classes meet Wednesdays at 6:45-8pm at Jazzercise Flagstaff. All levels and ages are welcome! RSVP with the date and if you need a rental drum!
Classes are led by community members who have been studying this art for over 20 years. We also host visiting master teachers occasionally throughout the year!
Although there is no child care, there is a separate room where children can play or they are welcome to join us in the main studio.Upcoming Dates For This Event:
