The 1st Annual Flagstaff Plein Air Photography Festival (Applications Open)
The 2025 Flagstaff Plein Air Photography Festival invites photographers of all skill levels, and from all over Arizona to capture the stunning landscapes and vibrant culture of Northern Arizona.
This year’s festival will take place from October 3 – 19, 2025. Participants will explore and photograph Northern Arizona’s scenic vistas, historic downtowns, and breathtaking natural surroundings. The festival culminates in a public exhibition and awards ceremony, showcasing the best work captured during the event. "We’re thrilled to bring together photography enthusiasts and professionals to celebrate the art of plein air photography in one of the most picturesque regions of the Southwest", said Mike Frankel, the Executive Director of the Artists’ Coalition of Flagstaff,of the festival.
