One hour of prayer for peace, held monthly and all are welcome!
Taizé Prayer is a tradition begun at the start of WWII in an ecumenical French monastic community that desired to be a place of refuge and healing in an occupied nation. It has since spread world wide, into many nations and languages, a quiet service of meditation, reflection, readings and music, with prayers for the community and the world. Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 1601 N. San Francisco, is beginning a monthly Taizé Prayer Service for the wider Flagstaff community, to be held the 3rd Friday of every month, from 6:30-7:30 The services for this fall are on September 19, October 17, November 21, and December 19. Give yourself the gift of stillness, reflection, and peace in God\'s presence and join us!
