Are you interested in getting your middle schooler 6th - 7th - 8th grader involved with Engineering and technology topics over the summer? NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO ATTEND! Robotics camp will explore what its like to be involved in robotics and mechatronics! Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of robotics & engineering while building and programming a robot. The camp will incorporate the engineering design process, computational and creative thinking, team building, and assembling a robot. Video Game Design camp unleash your creativity with hands-on game development and bring your imagination to life as you dive into fun, interactive software. Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of game design and develop their own games to play and share. Civil & Environmental Engineering camp get ready to design, build, and solve real-world challenges! This 4-day Built Environment focused camp introduces middle school aged students to the exciting world of engineering that shapes the communities we live in. Semiconductors & Microelectronics camp discover the tiny technology that powers our world! Students will explore how computer chips are designed, how they make everything from smartphones to cars work, and what it means to be a computer or electrical engineer. Camps are Monday - Thursday 9am to 4pm (NOT OVERNIGHT) and we have heavy snacks but please bring a lunch.
