Join library staff and Roving Rangers from the Coconino National Forest as we ramble between 1-2 miles in Hart Prairie.

Learn about early settlers, Bebb willows, thinning projects and more! Expect great views on this outing with the tallest peak in Arizona as a stunning backdrop. What you'll need: transportation to and from the trailhead, water, snacks, sun protection, and shoes for hiking. Please no dogs on this adventure. How to get there: Drive north from Flagstaff on Highway 180 for approximately nine miles. Turn right onto Forest Road 151 (Hart Prairie Rd). Stay on this road for ~3.3 miles, then turn left into the parking area. We’ll meet you there! To request a reasonable accommodation for any type of disability, please call 928-213-2330.
