Join Flagstaff Open Space as we hike Tunnel Springs Trail at Observatory Mesa Natural Preserve to view the Beaver Moon!
PROSE - Open Space hosts a full moon walk (and sometimes bike ride) on one of our beautiful Open Space properties--a different spot each month. We start about a half-hour before the moon rises, walk on either a loop trail or out-and-back, and watch the full moon rise. Come check out your open spaces, and meet new people! Wear sturdy shoes, dress for the weather, and bring a red-light flashlight and hiking poles, but we'll have extras! This month, we'll walk Observatory Mesa Natural Preserve's Tunnel Springs Trail. It is about 3 miles out and back, and is steep, but all on the wide FUTS trail. Meet at the intersection of Railroad Springs Blvd & Adirondack Ave.
