Full Moon Hike

Join Flagstaff Open Space as we hike Mars Hill Trail to view the Sturgeon Moon!

PROSE - Open Space hosts a full moon walk (and sometimes bike ride) on one of our beautiful Open Space properties--a different spot each month. We start about a half-hour before the moon rises, walk on either a loop trail or out-and-back, and watch the full moon rise. Come check out your open spaces, and meet new people! Wear sturdy shoes, dress for the weather, and bring a red-light flashlight and hiking poles, but we'll have extras! This month, we'll walk the Mars Hill Trail, starting at the Thorpe Park "Bark Park." This is an out-and-back hike; it is about 3 miles, but steep uphill on the way up; not for the faint of heart!
