Full Moon Bike Ride & Hike

Join Flagstaff Open Space as we ride Buffalo Park and McMillan Mesa to view the Strawberry Moon!

PROSE - Open Space hosts a full moon walk (and sometimes bike ride) on one of our beautiful Open Space properties--a different spot each month. Come check out your open spaces, and meet new people! This month is a bike ride, starting by the buffalo statue at Buffalo Park. Bring a bike in good working order with some sort of headlight and taillight, dress for the weather, and bring bug spray just in case we have mosquitoes. We'll ride our bikes on the Nate Avery Loop at Buffalo Park clockwise, then the McMillan Mesa Loop trail counterclockwise--about 5 miles in total, with a couple of hills to climb but mostly flat. For folks who don't want to/cannot ride, there will also be a hike of McMillan Mesa Loop Trail.
