Pickin' in the Pines - September 18-20, 2026

Share

Join us in the cool mountain air of Flagstaff Sept. 18–20, 2026 for the 20th Anniversary of Pickin’ in the Pines Bluegrass Festival — three full days of live music and four nights of camping in the tall pines. In 2026, we’re celebrating 20 years of Pickin’ and honoring the artists, fans, families, and friends who have made this gathering a heartwarming Northern Arizona tradition.

Set beneath the towering pines at Fort Tuthill County Park, this award-winning festival has been voted “Best Festival” for the past eight years, and it’s easy to see why. Pickin’ in the Pines brings together world-class bluegrass, jamgrass, and roots musicians for unforgettable performances under open skies. Beyond the main stage, we offer educational music workshops led by talented performers, a renowned band contest that spotlights rising artists, and a lively community square dance that’s sure to get everyone on their feet and smiling ear to ear. From high-energy headlining sets to late-night campground jams, kids’ activities, artisan vendors, local food, craft beer, and the unmistakable spirit that fills the pines each September — every detail is thoughtfully curated to create an experience that’s high-energy, engaging, and built for music lovers and lifelong connections.

Whether you’re a longtime picker or discovering bluegrass for the first time, you’ll find yourself right at home. Come celebrate 20 years of music, mountains, and memories with us this September!

When: September 18-20, 2026
Where: Pepsi Amphitheater
