Revel in ancient traditions and festivities at the Arizona Highland Celtic Festival. Honor Scottish and Irish culture with an array of festivities, from whiskey tastings to live performances. Whether you're looking for summer events or kid-friendly activities, this special event will transport you across the pond with age-old customs and rituals.

When & Where

The Arizona Highland Celtic Festival will take place July 18-19, 2026. Hours will run from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, as well as 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. 

The event will be held at Fort Tuthill County Park, which is located on Fairgrounds Road. 

Admission

  • Adult - $20 - $30
  • Child (ages 5 - 12) - $5
  • Child (age 5 or under) - Free
  • Military - $15 - $25
  • Senior (60+) - $15 - $25

Featured Experiences

  • Live Music & Merch- As a full celebration of the culture, Irish music will be performed throughout the event, and merch, including traditional clothing, will be available through vendors. 
  • Food & Drinks - Relish mouthwatering bites from a variety of food vendors and take in bold flavors during whiskey and gin tastings. 
  • Family-Friendly Activities & Workshops - Participate in an array of fun games and workshops, including baking sessions, bodhran drum courses, and Tartan history classes.

Contests & Competitions 

  • Highland Dance Competition - the Celtic Dance competition, presented by Northern Arizona Celtic Heritage Society, welcomes novice dancers and will feature multiple age groups to compete for the coveted trophy throughout the festival. 
  • Athletic Competition/ Highland Games - Featuring athletic competition like the Braemar stone, caber, sheaf, and more, the Highland Games call for athletes to compete in their highly anticipated competition. 
  • Piping Competition and Demonstrations - As part of the weekend, a bagpipe competition will take place, featuring solo, youth, and quartet categories.
