Flag Shakes Sunday Matinee Cabernet Cabaret Series continues with Classical to Country 2025 at the Beaver Street Theater featuring Stephen & Lynn Timmons Edwards
Classical to Country 2025 features Stephen Edwards who returns to the Beaver Street Theatre on Sunday, August 31 after his sold out Midsummer Honky Tonk on July 6. The show starts at 3 p.m. at The Beaver Street Theatre, 11 South Beaver Street, #2 (behind the Beaver Street Brewery). He will be joined by Lynn Timmons Edwards for a concert of music that will include more Country but also Broadway songs from shows like Hamilton, classical pieces recorded by Andre Boccelli and Josh Groban and even a song by The Eagles. Edwards is a bass-baritone who gave his first Flagstaff concert in 2013 shortly after graduating from NAU with his degree in Bioscience. General Admission tickets are $20 and Patron Donations of $100, come with up to four reserved seats. Everyone receives a glass of wine or bottled water with admission. Edwards will be joined this time by his mother, Lynn Timmons Edwards, producer and director of the Sunday Cabernet Cabaret Series. The second act will include a selection of their favorite duets which range from songs recorded by Lady Gaga/Tony Bennett; Barbra Streisand/Neil Diamond, Bonnie Raitt/John Prine and Celine Dion/Josh Groban among others. Cabaret is about story telling through song and a personal connection between the singer and the audience which is perfect for the intimate space of The Beaver Street Theatre.
