This years Heritage Festival will be celebrated every weekend throughout July
Museum of Northern Arizona
The third weekend of the Heritage Festival features the Yellowhouse Dancers demonstrating Native American song and dance styles on Saturday. Performer Lane Jensen, (Diné and Maricopa), has been devoted to preserving his cultural values and his grandfather’s teachings.
The artist market portion of the festival opens on Friday, with a new group of artists demonstrating and selling their work, including Raylan and Patty Edaakie (Zuni, inlay jewelry), Jonah Hill (Hopi, jewelry), Elroy Natachu and Kandis Quam (Zuni, fine art and basketry), Bobby Silas (Hopi, pottery), Toney Mitchell (Diné, silver jewelry), Melvin and Quanah John (painting and sculpture), and many more. musnaz.org
