The Arboretum at Flagstaff

At 7,150 feet in elevation located on the edge of a large forest meadow, The Arboretum at Flagstaff is a unique destination, specializing in plants native to the high elevation habitat of northern Arizona.

Visit the Arboretum to understand and appreciate the conservation of plants native to the Colorado Plateau. The Arboretum is open seasonally April 15 - October 31, six days a week (closed Tuesdays). Come out with friends and family and a picnic basket and enjoy the natural environment that surrounds you!

The hours for the Arboretum are: Wednesday- Monday 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Closed Tuesdays. Memorial Day to Labor Day open 9 am to 5 pm. A 50-minute guided tour, included with admission is offered daily at 11 a.m. and on the weekends 11 am and 1 pm.

SUMMER CONCERT SERIES

In association with Flagstaff Arts Council, the Arboretum holds a series of concerts with local performers throughout the summer.

Bring a picnic and a blanket and enjoy the scenery. With a view of the peaks and the shelter from the enormous Ponderosa pines, these outdoor concerts are the perfect summer activity.

Summer Plant Sale

July

The 2015 plant sale will feature the Arboretum, Native Plant and Seed, and Warner’s selections of high-elevation plants for your garden as well as live local musical performers, food vendors and a beer garden.

Mushroom Festival

August

Join us Friday evening for a wild mushroom tasting and presentation from special guest, or come out Saturday morning for a mushroom foray through the San Francisco peaks.

Wine in the Woods Festival

September (Cancelled for 2019)

An assortment of AZ wines and local eateries showcased throughout the gardens, featuring live performances from Arizona bands.
