Climate Info

Winter temperatures in the Mormon Lake area can vary greatly but, on average, they run from the mid-teens to the upper 50s and can drop below 0 degrees at night. Keep wind chill in mind when planning your activities.  The water in Mormon and other surrounding lakes comes from snow fall and runoff in the spring. Come enjoy a wonderful winter experience and ski across alpine meadows, along old logging roads and historic railroad grades.
