The Center for High Altitude Training at NAU offers a world-class location to train in a fully supported altitude environment. From the finest in elite training facilities to comprehensive performance services and sports medicine support, The Center customizes and manages every component of every altitude training camp so athletes can focus on training – and winning.
The Center has hosted over 6,000 athletes from 43 countries since 1994. Such athletes have won 191 Olympic and Paralympic Medals since 1996. The Center for High Altitude Training was named America's "Best Altitude Training Center" in Sports Illustrated for Women and over 75 percent of teams return to for future training camps. Designated an official U.S. Olympic Training Site, the Center commits key resources to long term development of American athletes so they can become the finest in the world and proudly represent TEAM USA on the podium. The Center for High Altitude Training is home of a Community Olympic Development Program, a program of the U.S. Olympic Committee and one of only nine in the nation.
