
Every town has its ghost stories, but Flagstaff may have more than its fair share. Sites in downtown Flagstaff can be visited by foot in an afternoon on a self-guided tour, or you can have a knowledgeable tour guide from the Pioneer Museum escort you through Flagstaff's historical haunted tales.
Guided Tour: Historic Haunted Tours, Downtown Flagstaff. An informative guided tour of the ghost stories of downtown Flagstaff. Meet at the Flagstaff Visitor Center. 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
(Tours daily throughout October).

Self Guided Tour: Please stop by the Visitor Center to pick up a Haunted brochure, or download a printable pdf and take a self guided tour at your leisure. With this brochure and map, and perhaps a few stories from the current occupants on the Haunted Places route you can learn about the Balcony Specter at the Orpheum, the Old Man in the Basement at Theatrikos or the Phantom Bellboy at Hotel Monte Vista.
