Training Camp 2011

Arizona Cardinals NFL Training Camp

July 30 - August 25, 2011

Each year, thousands of Arizona Cardinals fans flock to Flagstaff to see the team take the field to train at Northern Arizona University. Sports Illustrated’s Peter King ranked the Cardinals training camp among “My Top 5 Training Camps: Places to Get Up Close and Personal with NFL Players.” ESPN.com recognized Cardinals training camp as the best in the NFC West, saying:

“The Seahawks have it nice on Lake Washington, but there's something special about going away to camp if the venue is right. Northern Arizona University fits the profile for the Cardinals. It's far enough from Phoenix to escape the blistering heat, but close enough for fans to turn out in large numbers. The high-desert scenery and nearly 7,000-foot elevation combine to set apart NAU from other camp venues in the division and the league overall.”

RED & WHITE PRACTICE

On Saturday, August 6 the Cardinals will host a special “Red & White” outdoor practice from 11:35 am-1:20 pm. Weather permitting, the practice will be preceded by an outdoor full-team autograph session for kids 12 and under (10:45-11:10 am) and conclude with a live goal-line session. The Cardinals will also have a night practice on Tuesday, August 16 from 7:05-9:10 pm scheduled at nearby Coconino High School. All other practices in Flagstaff will be held on the grass fields adjacent to the NAU Walkup Skydome.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: If a summertime shower descends, practice will be moved inside to the Skydome. Because of code restrictions and liability issues related to construction at the Skydome, any Cardinals training camp practices that are moved into the Skydome will not be open to the public.

Practice times are subject to change and fans are encouraged to check the team's official website www.azcardinals.com for the most up-to-date practice information.

Admission and parking are both free. Select Cardinals players and coaches will be available following each practice to sign autographs as they come off the field.
